This looks like it is probably a chop job of a retail unit. Dev units and prototypes are black this one is white... it also has a serial number which these units would not have. Plenty of people have been modding the cases of their 360s and it wouldn't surprise me if this was the case.
The posting has no "source" so there is nothing to back it up. Plus microsoft themselves have said that the existing port could do an hdmi output so this would contradict that.

ps3 can do 1080p native, but cannot do it non-native, that's the point. That is exactly where it is weaker. Both systems can do 1080p native but only the xbox 360 can upscale a 720p game into 1080p without a performance hit.

i love that game... it was a while back that they did a comparison and gave the "nod" to resistance, i disagreed with them then... but i suppose that after playing more gears over the past few weeks it changed their minds ;-)
is that gamedaily said that resistance was better head to head... but then gave gow the goty... very funny.. and very telling indeed

It seemed very fair and although at first I thought it was bashing xbox, once he began talking about the positives it became fairly obvious what the main difference between the two systems is:
the xbox360 is a gaming console first and media center second. The ps3 is a media center first and gaming console second.

dev units are black... i'm pretty sure that this is a modded xbox and that someone who was very technically savvy rebuilt their xbox to do hdmi (but perhaps not "real" hdmi because i'm not sure why in the video they would even use an adaptor... why not just use the microsoft millions to have a real 1080p hdtv there to test it on with a real hdmi cable??)
